How often do you eat these foods?
In this lesson you practise talking about food and meals using adverbs of frequency (always, usually, often, sometimes, never) and simple time expressions (every day, once a week).

We use adverbs of frequency to say how often something happens.
Frequency scale
- always (100%)
- usually (80–90%)
- often (60–70%)
- sometimes (30–40%)
- never (0%)
Word order
- Before the main verb: I usually eat fruit.
- After the verb be: I am often hungry at night.
Example: “I usually drink water.” / “I never eat fast food.” / “I sometimes eat dessert.”
Grammar · “Every day” and “once a week”
We can also use simple time expressions to talk about frequency.
